Lets help and save all the future victims of gender based violence we cant afford to lose more of our mothers,sisters aunts etc. If you decide to keep quiet and not report while knowing that someone out there is suffering from gender based violence you are the same as the perpetrators.

 This was a student protest movement that was happening in South Africa in the year 2015. The aim of the moment was to stop  the increment of student fees at tertiary institutions and to increase funding. The protest was started  and led by SRC leader of the university of  Witwatersrand of 2015. The protest resulted in no university fee increases in 2016,it also resulted in property damage and arrests were made. definition

Opportunities
This hashtag can create a buzz by going viral and earn the public relations practitioner a huge following. This will work in the PRPs advantage because many parents in our country cant afford to pay for the tuition fees of their children so parents and most students will support this hashtag and they will make sure that people talk about it and it goes viral. The PRP will get to reach a large audience while promoting the FeesMustFall hashtag.

 Challenges
The challenge is that violence will take place between the students and the police and the PRP will be blamed for all of this. The PRPs reputation might be damaged if things get out of hand and that might result to career end for the PRP.The South African Department of Higher Education and Training calculated the damage caused to universities during the 2015 #FeesMustFall protests to R300 302 848.58, with the North West University's Mahikeng campus having suffered the most damage at R151m due to unrest that saw buildings torched, students shot at with rubber bullets and the university closing for a month. Recommendations
-Campaigns must be made in order to discuss the issue.
-The PRP can  help by posting bursaries that can offer help.
Minister of Higher Education and Training should ensure that are there are enough bursary and scholarships that will help the students. The departments of high education and training should also take part.

My hashtag is all about showcasing the Kasi talent as well as the lifestyle in terms of Art, music, fashion that originates from the hood. The hood(Kasi) is full of talented individuals like actors, actresses, soccer players, musicians, dancers etc. I chose this hashtag because I feel like people from kasi don’t get credit that they deserve and I want to change that and make the public to give credit where it's due. kasi life

Opportunities

The opportunities for this hashtag is that it will raise awareness about the awesome concepts that the people from kasi come up with and the hashtag will make people around south Africa to take people from kasi serious, people from kasi will now get credit that they deserve and they will now get the chance to showcase their different talents. By following the hashtag people from other countries will also learn about the kasi life and get the chance to see that most creatives are born and bred from kasi.

In terms of music this hashtag will help create awareness about the music that originates in kasi because most people are not familiar with it and it will help to get the kasi music out there to the world. We all know that most of the South Africans fashion icons get their style from the USA icons so this hashtag will play a huge role it terms of introducing the kasi fashion to the world and people from other countries will now get the taste of our very own fashion from the hood.

Our very own fashion designers from kasi will now get the chance to showcase their work to a larger audience not just people from kasi. The kasi fashion designers might find themselves working hand in hand with global designers because this hashtag will make them connect, share ideas, perspectives and knowledge about fashion.

Challenges

As most people from kasi are still getting to use social media it might take time for me as a public relations practitioner to make the hashtag be in everyone's mouth.

 In order for the hashtag to be a success research must be done so that I know my target audience.
